So, Monday I took Aiden to the doctors for a cough he had. It turns out that he may have asthma. He is wheezing a little. The doctor told me that they don't technically diagnose asthma until they are 3 years old. They diagnosed him with Restrictive Airway Disease (which is basically asthma), and prescribed the use of a nebulizer. We started with Albuterol and Aiden did not sleep for 5 days. He was restless and very sad. We switched the medication to Xopenex which is supposed to make them less restless but so far haven't seen any changes. We are seeking a second opinion since daddy's side of the family has problems with allergies and asthma. We want to make sure we are taking precautions and getting him the correct medications. I will keep you updated on the situation.Other than that not much has been going on here. Aiden is growing at a rapid pace. He is 5 1/2 months and weighs in a a whopping 17 lbs 13 ozs!
